Bayshore Early Learning Center

of Young Children (NAEYC)

Mission Statement
Our commitment is to create a positive learning environment that encourages children’s learning through the exploration of materials in and out of the classroom allowing children to become self-confident, independent, and enthusiastic learners.
Programs
Ages 3-5 / Year-round Program
Parents have access to child’s online bi-annual assessments. Classrooms are setup to cultivate a child’s desire to learn. This educational process builds confidence and develops self discipline.
Special classroom materials are used so the child can work independently and “learn by doing”. Children are encouraged to exercise the freedom to pursue their individual needs, and to set a natural rate of progress by doing work of their choice.
The teacher develops a challenging and aesthetically appealing environment that attracts the child to work, and offers a variety of lessons for the individual, small, and large groups.
Children in our classrooms learn through example and guidance to behave in an orderly manner with respect for others’ rights.
K-1 at Bayshore Elementary
We offer before and after care to students in Kindergarten and 1st grade to students at Bayshore Elementary. The children arrive at our center between 7:00 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. A teacher accompanies them on the short walk to and from school.
